Feelin' Christmassy?

So today me and my mum have decorated the tree! I'm still not really in the christmas spirit though, not sure if it's because the room is still scattered with my disney princess birthday cards from two days ago - yeah it probs is that isn't it?
This year we have gone for a red and silver theme for decorations on the christmas tree and by "we" I mean "I" *evil laugh*, last year the tree was purple and black and I don't know I just feel like red is so cute and cosy and christmassy. We also have a new tree, unlike some people we buy a synthetic tree (is synthetic the right word? - I mean not real - fake yeah) mainly because me and my mum have hayfever and we would be crying everyday with the tree pollen, would be funny though wouldn't it, anyway, our new tree is so pretty! It took us ages to find a tree topper that would actually fit the thick branches and so we thought we would need one of those traditional angel ones with a cone bottom or in our case a Santa Claus one, yayyyy, BUT - it's never that simple is it, Santa had to be wearing blummin' red and gold and not red and silver doesn't he?! So I've done a bit of DIY involving lots of sellotape, blue tack and silver ribbon and now he is looking fierce on the top of our tree. I also put some pink tinsel around my telly in my room but it sorta dangles down really inconveniently and chops off like part of people's heads and its frustrating but also too cute to move, so think I'll just moan about that til after christmas. Also can I just say my boyf is so cute and made me some decorations with all our names on - aw bless him! - they even go with the colour theme, yes he has been well trained.
(these are the lil decs Jack made me)
I have also just made myself a christmas CD for my car because I feel like I'm gonna be spending a lot of time in it with driving back and forth to uni and Warrington so I need somewhere to feel a bit more christmassy, I have also considered buying one of them solar dancing flowers for your car but a santa version -yes they exist, but I'm feeling like I may get judged on that one so I'll just stick to a bit of car-aoke.
We have a serious amount of christmas lights, like serious, we have bright multicoloured acorns around the stair banister, 400 lights on the tree, lights on the wreath on the fireplace and we are gonna be putting some cute snowflake lights outside - yeah feelin' like a grotto this year. When the tree lights were plugged in before the main lights genuinely flickered, that was the weather right? yeah let's blame the weather...
What else? Oh yeah, I may or may not have finished wrapping my presents like two weeks ago, I'm glad all my shopping is out of the way but now everything seems to be on sale and I'm a bit like "r u srs?", also I have DA CUTEST christmas wrapping paper, I've gone for the traditional brown paper packaging with cute red ribbon and bows and stuff. I have also written my christmas cards, I had bought a multi-pack of around 20 and I think I have been a bit too optimistic thinking I actually know a lot of people when in reality I know like seven...
So that's it, when do you put up your decs and do you have any fancy xmas traditions you do every year? (because I don't so I might steal some of yours if that's k), alrighty, bye!
